This spicy cologne is versatile enough for use in professional or casual settings. It opens with top notes of chilled vodka citron and wet cilantro leaf before moving to heart notes of tobacco flower and cracked pink peppercorn. The base notes include masculine scents such as white-washed driftwood, stone-washed leather, hip hopps and urbam tar accord.
This cologne comes from Phat Farm, the company created by Russell Simmons in 1992. The brand helped bring hip-hop style to the mainstream by combining it with preppier looks. It was an offshoot of Simmons' Phat Fashions line, which also included the womenswear label Baby Phat.
After seeing the success of Simmons' brand, other labels also embraced the urban trend. Phat Fashion was sold to Kellwood Company in 2004 for a reported $140 million, and there is no denying its role in the development of the modern fashion industry.
