Patchouli Oud Perfume by Affinessence, This curious women’s perfume was created to be a heavy, aromatic fragrance with an atypical composition built exclusively on base notes.

True to its name, Patchouli Oud features a blend of Indonesian agarwood and patchouli essence at its core. Other notes join in to amplify this heart and produce a deep, resonant harmony: Laotian oud, guaiac, oakmoss and vetiver enhance the earthy-woody characteristics of the fragrance, while resinous notes like labdanum, elemi and incense produce a sensual undertone. Altogether, the perfume has exceptional longevity and sillage, creating a luxurious and enticing trail as the wearer passes through.

Affinessence was founded in 2013, originally as a perfume consultancy company. However, Sophie Bruneau, the founder, decided to go a step further and design her own collection of perfumes. A fascination with ingredients traditionally classified as base notes resulted in the launch of the Base Collection in 2015, with six fragrances made through collaboration with various perfumers.
