Paris Perfume by Yves Saint Laurent. Named after the origin city of its creator, Paris is a strong, dreamy fragrance first marketed in 1983 as a tribute to the city of romance.

The top notes are a generous mix of floral scents of mimosa, rose, orange blossom, cassia, hawthorn, hyacinth, bergamot, nasturcia, geranium and green notes. The heart continues garden-fresh flowery theme with lily, violet, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley, lime blossom and rose. The base branches off to a woody combination of sandalwood, amber, oakmoss, cedar and musk with the accompanying floral heliotrope and iris. This sensual perfume is a beautiful flower garden assortment.

The company’s name is from its fashion designer founder, Yves Saint Laurent. With a wish to achieve prominence in other industries, the fashion house adventured into the world of fragrances in 1964. For the following decades, new scents were released independently until Ysl teamed up with L'Oreal Group to offer contemporary colognes and perfumes.
