Pierre Montale and his family operated the perfume business Comptoir Sud Pacifique for 15 years, until his sister sold the company. It was at this point that Pierre decided to start his own fragrance operation using his surname as the company’s moniker. This new business was heavily inspired by oud and oriental scents. Pierre spent several years in Qatar, Dubai and Saudi Arabia to learn this new style of fragrance design. His research paid off and today his company enjoys success in both European and Middle Eastern markets.
