Mandragola V Perfume by Canto, A darkly beautiful scent that layers fresh, tart-sweet fruit and sheer florals over a bold, sensual base of amber and oud, Mandragola V is a four-season woody oriental scent that beguiles and bewitches. Bright, transparent accords of citrus open, mingling delicately fruity-aromatic bergamot and Sicilian lime with anisic hints of absinthe and soft, expressive saffron.

Shimmering florals harmonize with wood and musk at the heart, a shadowed garden of jasmine and Bulgarian rose fused with earthy guaiac wood, musk and green hints of petitgrain. Base notes are a rich, lingering embrace of oud merged with spiced sandalwood, amber, vetiver and a sweet, dark hint of vanilla.

This scent was created by the luxe Italian label V Canto. The composition was launched in 2016 as part of the Red Collection, a series of fragrances inspired by the darkly fascinating life of Lucrezia Borgia. Other scents in the collection include the woody oriental Stramonio, the fruity fresh Stricnina and the oriental white floral Lucrethia.
