Kapsule Woody Perfume by Karl Lagerfeld, Clean, cozy and undeniably chic, Kapsule Woody fuses rich forest evocatives with lush fruit to create a casual-classy fragrance of minimalist elegance.
The opening is a fresh effusion of deep, sensuous plum. As the scent begins to settle, creamy and delicately bittersweet notes of oak moss develop, followed by a calming, balancing accord of resinous cedar. From these three notes emerge subtle hints of earthy florals and spice that produce an irresistible, intimate finish that lingers for hours.
Woody belongs to the Kapsule collection released by designer Karl Lagerfeld in 2008. The other two scents in the series are Floriental and Light. Packaged in sleek geometric bottles, each fragrance can be worn alone or layered with each other. Woody was designed by Olivier Cresp, Light by Mark Buxton and Floriental by Emilie (Bevierre) Coppermann. Other popular fragrances by this Paris-based house include Karleidoscope (2011), Photo (1990), Jako (1997), Liquid Karl (2004), Sun Moon Stars (1994) and Paradise Bay (2015).
