Georges Marciano, Maurice Marciano, Paul Marciano and Armand Marciano opened the first Guess store in Beverly Hills in 1981. Their jeans and clothing proved to be an immediate hit, and the company generated $6 million in sales during that first year. Over the years, three of the brothers left the company, which left Paul in charge as its current Ceo.
