The opening notes are sharp white pepper spice, sage (an herb from an evergreen shrub, common in the Usa, Bosnia and Albania, and useful in medicine and aromatherapy) and the sweet citrus scents of mandarin orange from China and lime, grown mostly in Mexico. Middle notes include the therapeutic essential oil of cloves and the particularly sweet-smelling flower freesia. Among the base notes are leather and vanilla, which originates from the orchid and has mood-elevating properties.
