English Leather Black Cologne by Dana, English Leather Black was introduced in 2007 by Dana as a modern take on the old classic English Leather. While many of the scent notes are similar, this has a fresher, woodsier base.
The top notes of bergamot and a green, grassy scent soon open up to the central notes of rosemary and leather. The leather scent is warm and inviting with just a whiff of tobacco leaf. The base notes of sandalwood and musk add a bit of spice to the mix with earthy, woody notes reminding you of the outdoors. English Leather Black has more staying power than the original and is rugged without being too bold.
Dana has changed names and locations over the years, but has never faltered in its mission to bring classic fragrances to the market. While they began as a prestige perfumer in the 1930’s, in more recent years it has opted to bring popular fragrances to the consumer at more affordable prices.
