Eclat D'arpege Cologne by Lanvin, Eclat D'Arpege is a men’s cologne with citrus, ozonic, woody, fresh spicy, aquatic, and aromatic main accords.
Created in 2015, this fragrance is the masculine version of the women’s fragrance of the same name from 2002. Perfumer Sonia Constant of Givaudan is the nose for this scent, which starts with head notes of bergamot, lime, and mandarin orange. At the heart are violet leaf, rosemary, and jasmine notes while at the base are musk, cedar, and sandalwood notes.
Lanvin is France’s oldest fashion house. It was started in 1889 by designer Jeanne-Marie Lanvin, whose clothes for her daughter gained the attention of wealthy patrons who wanted similar clothes for themselves and their daughters.
The first boutique opened in Paris, France, where the company headquarters is still based. In the 1920s, the brand expanded to include menswear, home décor, lingerie, furs, and fragrances. The first scent was introduced in 1924, with Arpege becoming the signature perfume of the brand in 1927. Investor group Harmonie S.A. is the current owner of the company and Inter Parfums hold the fragrance license.
