Houbigant is a fragrance company that was launched in France in 1775. It was founded by Jean Francois Houbigant, who was only 23 years old when he first started the company. He opened his first small store in Paris, which he called “A la Corbeille de Fleurs.” His first products were scented gloves, powders, and toilet waters.
