Based in Pennsylvania, the U.S. fragrance company of Demeter was founded in 1996 by Christopher Brosius and Christopher Gable. The two business partners sought to create exquisite scents that served as everyday treasures with their line of simple perfumes. Many of the company’s fragrances remain purposefully simple and non-fussy with their compositions that include a single, or very few, scent notes. The popular fragrance brand also produces a wide array of scented candles, lotions, body oil, soaps and many other personal care items.
