Byredo Oud Immortel Perfume by Byredo, Launched in 2010, Byredo Oud Immortel is a captivating balsamic woody chypre fragrance that gives exquisite expression to oud's enigmatic aromas.

The top notes are a fresh blend of sweet-tart limoncello and incense fused with the resinous green spice nuances of cardamom. As the fragrance begins to settle, rich, musty and darkly exotic tones of oud come to the fore, merged with earthy sweet patchouli, papyrus reed and the lightly floral facets of Brazilian rosewood. Tobacco tinged with violet and velvet-deep oakmoss produce a delicious, supremely satisfying smoky wood finish.

Stockholm-based design house Byredo was established in 2006 by Ben Gorham. An artist by training, Gorham found himself transformed after a visit to Chembur, India, his mother's hometown. Struck by the evocative, omnipresent aromas of spice and incense, he was inspired by the power of scent on emotion and memory. In addition to perfumes and colognes, Byredo offers Swedish-made leather goods, body and hand care products, home fragrances and accessories. House fragrances were designed in collaboration with Jerome Epinette and Olivia Giacobetti.
