Vanille Patchouli Perfume by Molinard, Announced in 1998, Vanille Patchouli is an Oriental woody women’s fragrance that can be shared with men.

It has vanilla, patchouli, warm spicy, balsamic, and powdery main accords. Good for fall and winter day and evening wear, this scent has moderate sillage and long-lasting longevity. It begins with head notes of patchouli and sandalwood, then leads to heart notes of vanilla and benzoin. Base notes of vanilla and musk end this concoction.

Founded in 1849, Molinard has been based in Grasse, France since its beginnings. Hyacinthe Molinard had a shop that sold Eaux de Fleurs to wealthy clientele, then, with Albert Sittler, opened Maison Molinard, a factory and laboratory where fragrances were bottled in Baccarat, Lalique, or Viard flacons. The brand’s signature fragrance is Habanita, a feminine fragrance that was launched in 1921 and featured vetiver, which had previously been reserved for men’s scents. Celia Lerouge-Benard is the fifth generation of the family to be involved with the business, acting as its main perfumer and leader.
