Santal Carmin Cologne by Atelier Cologne, Presented in 2014, Santal Carmin is a men’s Oriental woody cologne with woody, warm spicy, powdery, vanilla, and balsamic main accords.

Perfumer Jerome Epinette is the nose for this fragrance, which starts with head notes of saffron, lime, and bergamot and heart notes of sandalwood, musk, and guaiac wood. Base notes of Madagascar vanilla, Texas cedar, and papyrus finish this work. This fragrance can be shared with women and worn day or night, ideally during the fall season. The sillage and the longevity are at moderate levels.

Atelier Cologne is a niche perfume house founded in 2009 by fragrance industry veterans Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, who met in New York and established their business there. The founders created a new olfactive family or fragrance category known as Colognes Absolues, which are inspired by the original German Eau de Cologne. The earliest fragrances were released in 2010, and the brand was acquired by L’Oreal in 2016.
