Gravity Cologne by Coty, Gravity is a spice-based classic men’s cologne. The scent was released in 1992. Presented in a masculine-style blue glass bottle, this cologne is recommended for casual wear.

The opening notes are sharp white pepper spice, sage (an herb from an evergreen shrub, common in the Usa, Bosnia and Albania, and useful in medicine and aromatherapy) and the sweet citrus scents of mandarin orange from China and lime, grown mostly in Mexico. Middle notes include the therapeutic essential oil of cloves and the particularly sweet-smelling flower freesia. Among the base notes are leather and vanilla, which originates from the orchid and has mood-elevating properties.

Coty, based in New York City, produces mass-market American beauty products in more than 150 countries. François Coty began the company in Paris, France, in 1904. The fragrance portion of the business is known for cooperating with celebrities and designers in the creation and marketing of perfumes and colognes.
