Top notes of blackcurrant, Amalfi lemon and bergamot open the scent for a rich and vibrant fruity, citrus element that’s accentuated by African orange flower and red tagetes. Heart notes continue the floral vibe with the inclusion of pink cyclamen, charming violet and night-blooming jasmine. The addition of base notes Virginia cedar, vetiver, musk and amber balance the other ingredients for a well-rounded, luxurious perfume that’s unlike any other.

This exhilarating fragrance, launched in 2009, was created by expert perfumer Jerome Epinette and released under the house of Byredo. It was created to emulate the emergence of African culture in 1920s Paris. This Swedish-based brand has become a success due to their authentic fragrances, as well as their body care products and various accessory lines.
